Tender Win for Showsec at Harrogate Convention Centre

Showsec are excited to announce a new contract with Harrogate Convention Centre.

Harrogate Borough Council put the contract out to tender for the provision of event stewarding and security services for the world class convention centre. Showsec successfully tendered and have now signed a new contract.

Area Manager for North and West Yorkshire, Sam Hodkin said: “I am elated to sign a deal that could see us with Harrogate Convention Centre for a further six years.

“It gives us the opportunity to flourish and champion excellent customer service in the conference, exhibition and entertainment sector.”

Showsec have provided services to the venue for five years and have shown a strong and professional working stature which ultimately led to the company winning the tender.

Harrogate Convention Centre is the second largest conference and exhibition venue outside London and has extensive experience of hosting major events with over 300,000 guests a year visiting the Centre and adjacent Royal Hall.

Leeds Operations Executive, Alistair Good, added: “It’s a great renewal for Showsec at the prestigious venue in the famous spa town of Harrogate enabling the company to offer continued working opportunities to the casual workforce.”
