Showsec Pick Up Award For Services Above And Beyond

On Thursday, March 6th 2020, London’s Sheraton Grand Park Lane hosted the Arthur Awards as part of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC).

Over 350 guests attended the live music industry’s Oscar equivalent and the Art Deco Ballroom and Gallery provided the perfect setting for the glitz and glamour that this evening of celebrations truly deserves.

For 26 years this prestigious gala event has celebrated live entertainment industry professionals and recognised their hard work and services.

Showsec are very proud to have received the award for the category “Production Services (Services Above and Beyond)” relating to work behind the scenes in the industry. Back again this year through popular demand to compere the evening was CAA’s Emma Banks who presented the award to Simon Howard, Area Manager and Andrew Agnew, Operations Executive.

The Arthur Award is a very special award to win, as each nominated category has been selected by a committee of 150 industry professionals with the final winners been selected by an online voting process with thousands of live entertainment industry professionals and ILMC members from across the world. In total there were over 65 finalists this year representing 11 categories.
