Showsec has earned some fantastic recognition for their customer-friendly approach, passing a World Class Service audit with their highest scores to date.

Reports were commissioned by Showsec and conducted by independent auditors from World Class Service. Four of the most popular arena venues in the north of England were visited and assessed by an undercover auditor, before being awarded scores based on three key aspects of customer service: behaviour, processes and environment.

The Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield, first direct Arena in Leeds and Manchester Arena all earned exemplary results. All four venues either matched or improved on their scores from the previous year, and all met the criteria to earn the World Class Service Standard.

“I was extremely impressed with the whole experience,” said Tracy Waddacor, Managing Director for World Class Service. “The teams were outstanding. Such great annual results, my congratulations to all Showsec’s venues this year.”

Tom Bailey, Showsec’s Regional Manager for the North East, explained that the “secret shoppers” look at their experience from the moment they arrive to when they leave.

“We get marked on how our staff interact with customers along with the atmosphere and the impression our staff make,” he said. “To get such high results is something that should be highly commended and recognised.

“The Area Managers and their teams have worked hard to give staff and customers confidence and contribute to an amazing experience for everyone. They should all be incredibly proud.”
