A Premier Performance For Showsec

On Monday 16th July Showsec provided security and crowd management services for the UK premier of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. With its release a full ten years after the original Mamma Mia film, the premiere was attended by a number of high profile figures including Amanda Seyfried, Lily James and Pierce Brosnan.
The film premier was the largest yet for Showsec, and the event was a huge success. A mixture of Stewards, SIAs and Supervisors were on hand to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all 2851 attendees.
As Serkan Tursan, Operations Supervisor for London West and the person in charge of Showsec operations on the night explains, “This was a high-profile and exciting challenge for Showsec. We were working alongside Universal’s own security company, so operationally it was a little bit different from our usual work. I am pleased and proud to say the event was a success. The high standard of our training meant that staff were able to perform their duties with the same diligence and professionalism around VIPs and the public alike.”

With the premier such a success, Showsec looks forward to providing services to more exciting film events in the future.
